Every patient is entitled to clear communication, informed participation, and treatment delivered with dignity and professionalism. The following outlines your rights as a patient receiving services from Clear Passage® Therapy®.

Right to Respect and Dignity

Patients have the right to be treated with courtesy, respect, and compassion at all times. Care is provided without discrimination based on race, color, national origin, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, religion, disability, marital status, or any other protected characteristic.

Right to Privacy and Confidentiality

Patients have the right to privacy during all evaluations and treatments. Personal health information is handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and regulations. Right to Informed Participation

Patients have the right to receive clear explanations regarding:

  • The nature and purpose of Clear Passage® Therapy®
  • The techniques used during treatment
  • Expected goals and potential limitations of therapy
  • Reasonable alternatives, including the option to decline treatment

Patients are encouraged to ask questions and participate actively in decisions regarding their care.

Right to Voluntary Care

All services at Clear Passage® Therapy® are voluntary. Patients have the right to refuse or discontinue treatment at any time, without coercion or penalty, and without compromising their ability to seek other care.

Right to Qualified Care

Patients have the right to receive care from trained and qualified Clear Passage® Therapy® practitioners who adhere to professional standards, ethical guidelines, and established protocols.

Right to Safety and Comfort

Patients have the right to receive care in a safe, professional, and supportive environment. Treatment plans are tailored to individual tolerance and comfort levels. Patients may request adjustments, pauses, or termination of a session at any time.

Right to Clear Financial Information

Patients have the right to receive transparent information regarding:

  • Fees for services
  • Payment policies
  • Cancellation and refund policies

Patients are encouraged to review and ask questions about financial obligations prior to beginning treatment.

Right to Continuity and Coordination of Care

Clear Passage® Therapy® respects the role of physicians and other healthcare providers. Patients are encouraged to maintain appropriate medical care and share relevant medical information as they choose. Clear Passage® Therapy® does not replace medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care.

Right to Voice Concerns or Complaints

Patients have the right to express concerns, provide feedback, or file complaints regarding their care without fear of retaliation. All concerns are taken seriously and addressed in a timely and respectful manner.

Patient Responsibilities

To support a safe, respectful, and effective therapeutic experience, patients receiving services at Clear Passage® Therapy® are responsible for the following:

  • Provide honest, accurate, and complete information about your health history, symptoms, and any changes in your condition.
  • Make a reasonable effort to understand your condition, the nature of Clear Passage® Therapy®, and the goals and limitations of treatment.
  • Follow the guidance and recommendations provided by your Clear Passage® Therapy® practitioner, and understand that outcomes may be affected if recommendations are not followed.
  • Communicate openly with your practitioner, including asking questions when information is unclear.
  • Inform your practitioner promptly of discomfort, changes in symptoms, or concerns during or between sessions.
  • Treat other patients, practitioners, and staff with courtesy, consideration, and respect.
  • Respect the privacy and confidentiality of other patients.
  • Notify staff if you believe your rights are not being respected or if you have concerns about your care.
  • Report any perceived safety issues or risks to staff immediately.
  • Understand and meet your financial responsibilities, including fees, payment policies, and cancellation requirements, in a timely manner.
